HOPE ON THE STREETS, BELFAST

Have you ever walked past people in the streets of Belfast and wondered  if you could help?  Maybe this is a calling within your heart from Jesus.

A compassionate heart, kindness and a willingness to serve others is really all that is required for our ‘Hope in Our City’ Homeless Team.

The Hope in Our City Team has been run by Beth Doherty the last number of years.

Isaiah 58:6-7
“Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:
to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke,
to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?
Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter
when you see the naked, to clothe him,
and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?”
